I only ended up here because it was the closest restaurant to the place I stayed iin, and I was lucky to get a table on Friday evening, as it was nearly fully booked. I really recommend it if you happen to be nearby - atmosphere is pleasant and service fast, food is very good (though my Keiserschmarrn was a bit overfried), and wine selection is great! The place really popular among locals which means something, right? 😀

It is hard for me to believe that we are talking about the same place... We came here for the outstanding reviews just to be greatly disappointed as this was, by far, the worst meal we had in Austria! The place was empty, yet we waited 40 minutes to get a defrosted goulash that was literary inedible as the meat was dry as my rubber shoe sole. Bad service and even worse food. Avoid by all means!!!

Cosy athmosphere, good food, friendly service. I had baked potatoe and nougat dumplings with vanilla ice and hot raspberries and it was delicious. You often meet the musicians after their rehearsals in Kulturzentrum Hof.
